HI Folks.. this is an abbreviated version of my regular web-site,  showing off some of the varied design projects that I have worked on.   Hopefully this will give you an idea of the type of work I enjoy doing...   so feel free to give me a call if you would like to talk about a special project.

Big Head Studio ..who are we??  what do we do...  ???  

...and what's with the name???

    Actually we are a small group of artists and crafts people who generally scoff at the establishment, and have little regard for the corporate world... DAMN THE "MAN" !!    

    We like to build stuff.. things... almost anything.. we work in all sorts of media.. wood plastic rubber metal glass..   most anything..   we carve, sculpt, sew, paint, and create things...   we once created a "Big Head" for a client... check out "Dave" under the big projects heading.

      

   why do we do it??  love of the art.. ??

    Well kind of...  but, most of us are sluts for cash... and lets face it. making stuff (notice how I don't often use the word "art") is a lot more fun than digging a ditch.

Company Profile

    The fine folks at big head studio , come from a variety of backgrounds.. most of us have come from the theatre at some point  (..some of us are still with it..)    in the real world some of us run races, both RAT and Road ..some of us program computers.. are carpenters,  we even have a nurse.   basically the studio is formed on a "as needed" basis... people are hired on as the project dictates... if it can be done in the basement, so be it .. lets save some cash, for ourselves as well as the client.. but if we have a larger project at hand.. we have been known to fill a warehouse with a good size mess

    We have done work for the corporate world... the theatre... and for private folks ...  we try to keep the prices fair so feel free to give us a call if you have some special project in mind.

    I will try to keep this page updated with things of interest,   .. and lets hope I can keep this web site from becoming yet another self serving masturbatory exercise .. I'm sure that the whole world doesn't need a personal web page .. but I must be different.. this will be good, I promise never to post photos of the kids on Santa's lap !
