![]() | ..STEPPIN' TOWARDS THE FUTURE "Mike" was intended to be a mannequin used to display a cool new gizmo, put out by the Vocollect company.. they call the computer "Mike" to make it sound more user friendly... the gizmo is some sort of voice activated computer designed to speed the process of pulling inventory off shelves for shipping, in large warehouse situations... we were asked to design a mannequin that looked like a hard worker, stepping towards the future... and this is it.. Mike is a foam sculpture that comes apart in two sections, for shipping. after carving Mike, he was covered in glass cloth and epoxy resin, to give him a rock hard surface, that will hold up to the rigors of being shipped across the country from one trade show to the next this mannequin was conceived by Darren Abrams of Fire brand Mike was designed and constructed by Beth Whitney and Scott Bonelli, assisted in construction by Renee Ferruccio Key Benefits
Pricinga custom mannequin such as this could cost around $3,300 depending on the options required, and the time frame given to build it
